The design was developed by merging flexibility and the need for standardisation. The control units are installed outside. The various processing phases include different thermo-hygrometric conditions. Therefore, the relevant dimensioning at the air flow rates is calibrated in the supply/return phase to control the air volumes intended for each zone.
The spinning production process includes considerable volumes of technological air, i.e. air used by the machines for their operation, high enthalpic content. As a result, the design includes total re-use of this energy, giving considerable savings.
The Canalair module includes both the pre-filtration step (installing flat pre-filters and cyclone pre-separators) and the filtration step (self-cleaning automatic filter) and micro-filtration (set of static filters with controlled selectivity).
The technological air on the one side and environmental air on the other, having passed through the filtration phase, is automatically managed by the processor of the conditioning control unit, which will choose whether to re-use the volumes of extracted air in a total or partial manner.
The system is controlled and managed using electronic probes on site, connected online to the air treatment system. The rapidness of reading and transmission to the processor allow maintained humidity and temperature setpoints, reducing to a minimum the risk of “swinging”.
