The system is automatic and self-cleaning thanks to use of openings that move on the surface of the filtering medium, firmly fastened to the circular structure of the rotating drum.

The rotation speed is proportional to the movement of the openings. By doing so, at the end of the cleaning cycle, motion is inverted starting with the subsequent cycle.

Canalair has standardised a vast range of sizes, paying particular attention to the maintenance spaces and the ease and safety of access.
The filtering media are chosen based on the type of application and based on the granule size mix of airborne particles.

The cleaning system of the filter is designed to convey the material extracted from inside the Jet Filter or (in particular cases) inside the baggers or collection bags, ensuring it is always possible to recover and reuse the material.
